The Blue Door Pub in the News (and blogs!) { 1 }

While we’re currently sweating away on renovating your future new favorite place to eat and drink in St. Paul, we’ve gotten some recent mentions in the newspaper and blog or two.

Today the StarTribune writes:

The Caribbean menu is history. “We know a lot of people are going to miss those great black beans,” said Woerner. “We just don’t know how to cook them.”

Topix.com had a brief blog post about the Pioneer Press article that was written last week.  While the comments might have gotten a little off track, there was a comment or two worrying about the safety of the neighborhood.  We, can assure you, as well our friends and neighbors can, that Selby and Fairview Avenue is definitely a very safe area.

Last but not least, we were mentioned in a chowhound.com thread that was mourning the loss of Puerta Azul.
